When you’re not in class and not at home, you need a place to be. The Comstock Memorial Union (CMU) is the hub for what’s happening on campus. With coffee and snacks readily available, it’s the perfect spot for a study group. Use a meeting room for your student organization any night of the week. Or challenge a friend to a game of ping pong in the recreation area. During evenings and weekends, the CMU comes alive with campus events and student interaction.

MSUM Counseling Services offers short-term in-person, phone or virtual appointments that are HIPAA compliant. MSUM Counseling Services helps students explore personal or academic concerns, makes referrals, and serves as a consultant for faculty and staff. We offer free and confidential  mental health, alcohol and drug, sexual assault, and violence counseling. MSUM Counseling Services fully supports Safe Space on campus. We pledge to be confidential, non-judgmental, and supportive contacts for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex or asexual (LGBTQIA) members of the MSU Moorhead community.

Several tutoring options are available to help you find academic success and make the most of your time at Minnesota State Moorhead.

The Academic Success Center offers in-person tutoring with drop-in and/or scheduled session options,
Monday through Friday when classes are in session. Tutors are available for a variety of subjects, primarily at the 100, 200, and 300-level in core subject areas. View the drop-in tutoring schedule to see when tutors are available for your subject, or request a small group scheduled session with a tutor below. If you have questions about tutoring, please contact us at tutor@mnstate.edu.
